Dear Brown Dog Gadgets,
I recently purchased you full Version 2 kit and I am very happy with the quality of your product and prompt delivery.
Having said that I cannot get it to perform as it is supposed to.
I believe I have assembled it as per the instructions and You Tube tutorials. I have checked and doubled checked the wiring and servo zero positions as per instructions.
However, when I activate the unit it appears to be performing some sort of initializing routine for approx 30-40 secs and then just comes to rest at a stop limits for both the horizontal and vertical servos. Sometimes after the “initialization period” it periodically “jumps” from a signal it receives including a corresponding tone from the computer???
It is not responding to light directed on the LDR’s. I have followed the suggestions on the forum and checked the instructional information a number of times so I’m not sure what the problem is.
I have reset the Ardunio and uploaded the code several times, with and without the sensors connected but I am still not having any success.
I’m open to suggestions.
