The LDRs are variable resistance devices while the LM35 is a variable voltage device.
The LDR measures light levels and converts it into a voltage that the Arduino ADCs can measure when used in combination with a resistor and a 5 vdc power source.
The LM35 produces a voltage output of 10mv/deg C.
Since the Arduino ADC has a resolution of 5mv/count you can measure the output of the LM35 with the Arduino ADC.
However I suspect that the LM35 will do nothing but measure the temperature of the surrounding air and not the temperature of some distant object.
